and still get credit for them?

SAT II’s? (10 char)

Check with your particular college but usually, the answer will be NO.

^ So, CLEP can be taken any time during college? So for instance, you can take a CLEP in your 3rd year in college to knock out a course for your 4th year?

Interesting…

AP exams are designed for high school students looking to take college-level courses in high school. You can’t take them in college, because by that point you are taking the classes in college to get credit for the classes you would have taken in high school to take AP exams for.

@byubound- You want to go to BYU Provo? It doesn’t seem like there are too many cc’ers that want to go there.

Yeah I want to go to BYU Provo and I’ve been admitted, so I will be going there. They are really good about granting AP credits at BYU. Just check out the link below. I’ve passed out of a lot of GE requirements and have enough credit hours to be classified as a sophomore there already. So AP is definitely the way to go if you want to be ahead when you get to college.

But getting back on topic: you can’t just take AP exams once you’re in college. AP exams are a way to do college work without being in college yet. If you’re in college, you’ll just take the class.
