Can you submit app over winter break?

<p>Hi guys. Ok, this might sound stupid, but can you send the common app over winter break? I am not sure if I heard this correctly, but if the admissions offices are closed over winter break then does that mean, if the deadline is 1/1, I would have to send it around 12/22? I am only freaking about this now because I've only recently realized how busy I am next month up to winter break. And if the deadline is 1/1, then does that mean I can send it on that day too?</p>

<p>It means you have to send them in by or before January 1st, whether the office is open or not.</p>

<p>Yep. I think they usually go by the postmark date, anyways. You can probably even have your test scores and transcript and whatever else needs to be sent in ahead of time, and then just submit the online portion of the common app during your winter break.</p>
