Can you submit application before ACT scores arrive to college?

I am about to apply to Cal Poly SLO as a poly sci major. I realized that I had never sent my scores, so I just sent my ACT score to them. While the scores themselves won’t arrive for about 2 weeks (apparently), can I still submit my application now? Is that a good idea? Will it make a difference? Thanks

Of course! Application components always arrive at different times… transcripts, test scores, application, etc.
