The school that I want to apply to has my major that I want, which is human physiology. However, it does not have any preprofessional programs for physicians assistant. Do you think pre-med would suffice for when I apply to physicians assistant grad schools?
Go to AAPA. org to see requirements for admissions to grad school. Be aware you will also need 500 hours of direct medical contact before applying.
You may want to consider other schools. It is as difficult to get into PA grad programs as it is med school. Easiest way is to do a 3+2 program.
Also it is Physician Assistant.
Do you understand what “pre-med” actually is? It’s not a major – it’s an advisory path for people who plan on possibly applying to medical school. It’s a bucket of classes and guidance on how to ready oneself for med school apps. One can be pre-med while being a Slavic Languages or Art History major.
Much overlaps with what is required of PA schools – it’s up to you to determine what pre-reqs you need to take as an undergrad in order to ready yourself – much like your peers who are readying themselves to go to med school.

You won’t be taking anything that says “premed” on your transcript. You’ll be taking some of the regular bio, chem, physics, math classes that the various premed, prevet, pre-PA, predental, engineering, etc students will be taking.
The med/grad/dental/vet schools don’t have req’ts for unique classes.
Go to some PA websites and see which BCMP classes they require.
