Can you take SATs in China?

don't know that guy wants to humiliate himself or others, his username should be totally barred from this site. absolutely intolerable.

SAT's are available in Shanghai, China. I'm pretty sure only the international schools offer it.

May you please help me with more information about that? I am in Jinan (an Iranian citizen) now. I plan to take SAT in China. any information? tnx

When I took my SATs in January there was a girl from Xi'an and she flew all the way here to take the test.

Huh, the largest student population in the world and no SATs allowed?

Thank God I moved to America and didn't stay in China.

you can't take SATs in mainland china, except for some international school

What's wrong with the word chink? I'm pretty sure it's not derogatory ,at least not where I live. For example, I'm a chink.

Apparently it's offensive if someone who isn't chinese says the word chink. haha, it's funny, when back in like grade 8 everyone was all AZN PRYDE and all their user names had chink/azn etc in them. i started dropping the chink in grade 10 :D. don't make a big deal out of it, unless someone tries to use it in a derogatory context.

everyone in china understands universities in china are a pile of garbage,if the chinese government allows to set up sat testing centers in china then chinese colleges would be empty or only open for those poor people who can not even afford the exam.that’s not good .

Can I get detail as to how to take it in Shanghai? I’m going to China this summer and would like to know how I can take it while there.

Took the SAT back in 1999 in Shanghai. They don’t post the test centers on their website but the test center code for Shanghai American School is 74310 and the code for Beijing International School is 74305. You may have to use their paper application to register.

I don’t know where the problem, maybe I am not native so I don’t realise your guys ‘‘offense’’.But I can usually see some so-called impolite nickname in the movies, like Yank, limey,I don’t feel anything offensive but only names and calls. Is there any background behind those words?(I totally have no offense, merely out of curiosity.)
