Can you test on non-test dates??

Hi, so when I went to print my admission ticket for the August 24 test date the night before, turns out I somehow had signed up for the October 4 test instead.

This is super frustrating because I even signed up for it on time, but I had no way of knowing because if I had printed the ticket any earlier I would have lost it and just had to print another. On top of that, I had studied for 3+ hours everyday the week prior at the library only to find out I wasn’t even taking it.

The minimum for the waitlist had to be 5 days before and late registration was 10 days, so there was nothing I could do the night before.

So, my point is, does anyone know if its somehow possible for me to take the SAT on a non-test date like through a third-party or getting supervised to take it individually? I wanted to be able to take the SAT twice before the November deadlines.

I have no idea how that may work, so I appreciate any help you can offer.

After the Varsity Blues Scandal I certainly hope not. Colleges may be wary of accepting scores obtained under special conditions anyway.

Keep studying. It can only help you. And before college application season starts get organized so you don’t lose important paperwork.

You’re not going to be able to take the test until October. You goofed. You thought you signed up for August, but you didn’t. Be glad you’ve still got plenty of time to study.
