Can you track the application online?
When can you do this and do they send you the ID, password etc?

no, there is nothing to do except wait for the snail mail. i do think that they give intl applicants an email around april to make sure they get it in good time

no..

i mean.. like to see if all the stuff has got there? ie. teacher recs, sat scores etc...
not the actual decision

Yes...you can..They sent me my password and ID after I had registered with them, and I was able to "check my credentials" where it shows what has been received. If you don't already have an ID, you can go the online application and get one to check your account or something.

oh i thought you meant decision

how do u do that fortune?

i mean i have an online account with a username and password, but it doesn't seem to have nething for tracking the application...... how do i get it?

There should be something that says "check credentials" after you've submitted your application. It doesn't say it on mine anymore, however...maybe becaus I was accepted.

do you remember where that "check credentials" button is located? i've submitted my application but i can't find where i'm supposed to click to check sats, recs, etc.

i don't see it..?!?!?!

I can't find it either but no...I just checked the application and I somehow managed to send the wrong essay -- I don't know how because I inputted the Chicago essay about three weeks ago, then i realized that It was better than any personal statement I could write and started trying to chop words off -- so they got the chopped down version, probably something to do with 11:00 at night submissions...
Anyway, I'm sending this to my regional adcom, does it sound okay?

I just looked at my application and discovered a minor problem. I had finished my essay about three weeks ago, and put it into the website then. After that, because I loved the essay so much, I tried to create a chopped down version, which I don't like nearly as much. Somehow that ended up getting submitted. Is there any way that I can mail the longer essay to you or email it or something? I'm so sorry to create this inconvenience. Thanks.

You know, right tone and everything? I'm probably overreacting, but I don't want to ruin anything. Anyone?

Anyone wanna help me with my wording? Please?

i think that sounds good; if you try to reword i think its going to end up sounding overcontrived. just send it as is: you've explained yourself and asked a question. that should be good enough for them. =)

did anyone ever figure out how to check credentials online?!

I think the credential link go up after the adcoms start openning up the letters in mid Jan maybe....
