I am going to be a freshman this year at saddleback this August. I plan on transferring to a UC as a civil engineering major. I just registered for my classes today, and I was wondering if the UCs wil let me apply for spring quarter in 2.5 years. Also, I wanted to know if I can still get a TAG if I apply for spring quarter. This is my current academic plan for the next two and a half years:

first sem:
geology 20, english 1a, speech 5, psychology 1

second sem:
chem 1a, math 3a, english 1b, computer science 1a

summer:
physics 4a

third sem:
math 3b, physics 4b, engineering 31, computer science 1b

fourth sem:
math 3c, physics 4c, engineering 33,

summer:
math 24

fifth semester:
math 26, chem 1b, biology

After that I'll hopefully be able to transfer to a UC for spring quarter. I'm not taking a math my first semester because it was full, and i made this plan based off of me me not getting the class even after petitioning. Is it bad if I don't take one the first semester, considering I'm an engineering major? It does makes it easier for me to get straight A's the first semester. Does this plan seem reasonable for an engineering major? Will the UCs accept me as a spring applicant? Please give as much feedback as possible.
