I did 2 very solid UC essays in high school, one describing my experience of a young entrepreneurship because I'm majoring in Econ and another one of my volunteer.

my question to you guys is since I'm a transfer student, can I use the same exact essay I used in High school UC app? because now I got Tagged into Santa Cruz and I'm stuck on Personal statement because I wrote another one and it wasn't anywhere near as good as the one I used in high school. Thanks for the help guys.

I can’t give you facts or any firsthand accounts of this type of scenario, but my gut tells me that might be risky. If you can’t build from your previous account, that might lead the admissions office to believe you’ve been idle since high school. As a college transfer student you want to prove yourself as a contributing member of society, you should have experienced some type of growth or change since then. They might perceive you as stuck, and you certainly don’t want them thinking that you hit your ceiling in high school.

true, but I mean I went to a community college and kind of had to get my **** together lol, they would expect that after seeing my grades. I don’t know I’m making changes but nothing too big just little grammar changes.
