I'm sure one of my relatives , for example, my cousin, who is neither ordinary nor famous knows me well, even better than my teachers. Can I ask him to write a recommendation letter for me when I apply. Who'd like to tell me who can be the best to recommend?

No. It needs to be your teachers. Whats the point if a relative writes one for you? Obviously he will only write great things about you. Colleges are looking for recs from your teachers. And why is this even in the SAT forum?

Well my mum and dad know me better than my teachers, but that wouldn’t be a reason for them to write my recommendations because obviously they’d want you to be accepted (unless they’re evil). I don’t think universities would appreciate it…

What if your teachers are your parents? ah ha!

There may be cases in which an additional recommendation from a non-teacher may be appropriate, if that person knows you in a particular context and can share important information that a teacher can’t. It is highly unlikely that this would be a relative, though.

A relative? Are you joking?
Ultimate sources are teachers, tutors, your internship boss, contacts…etc.

Truly, I’m joking for my cousin is my teacher!

Haha! Well, thats pretty cool, and I’m sure you can do it. But, colleges don’t know whether your cousin knows you well or not…just that he is your cousin. However, if his last name is different from yours…u are in luck =)

Are you homeschooled? Some colleges (like Stanford) accept just 1 parental recommendation in place of all 3 if that’s the case.
