Can your teachers send in letters of recommendation before you sent in your app?

I'm apply to four schools three of them are through common application.
I was planning to send in my application before break but due to various conflicts with school and activities I wouldn't be able to send in them on Dec 17.
However, I requested all of my recommendations to be sent in by Dec 17 partially because I was planning to get things done by that time, and I was afraid some teachers would send it late.

So now, I'm worried that when my teachers and counselor sent in the application, the colleges will not accept it because I have not submitted my application just yet.

I'm really worrried right now.

Or would colleges keep letters of recommendation on hand and when you sent in your application they will match those two together?

My question is will my letters of recommendations be okay?

Yes. It will not be a problem.

Colleges will begin a file for you as soon as they receive any information (including recs). They’ll add your app when you submit it.
