Canada: Not sure which uni to go to.

Got into Queen's, UoT and UVic. I'll likely get into UBC once I send in my O-Level certificate (according to the admissions guy). And I applied to SFU.
ALL Arts course because I don't have A-Level Math (calculus basically). So I will probably transfer into International Biz, CompSc or something of that kind in the second or third year (that should explain how I got in)

I SERIOUSLY don't know were to go. I never thought about it, when I was applying. I was just applied to a whole PLETHORA of universities. 14 to be sure. I picked from a list of Macleans schools, other ranks and schools I had heard of my self. I have 5 so far.
Unfortunately, because I have A-Levels from May to June, I can’t visit the uni’s before I have to make a choice.
I want to go a Uni with a good ‘feel’ to it. I don't want to go to a very competitive school (like Waterloo or Western Ontario) which I fear Queen's is. But I want the school to have a fair rep (Not negative like Brock) and educational foundation. Basically, it should be a school were an above average (bordering good) but laid back student can do well in. And of course I want the university to be a fun, enjoyable place to live.

Right now Victoria is sounding good. It ranks high in Macleans, so it should have a good rep in BC. And BC is discussing that law about allowing Int. Student to work for like 2 years in the country. So I would work for those 2 years and go to Graduate school in the 3rd year so that should balance out the whole rep, grades, experience equation of getting a job. But I have heard people transferring out Victoria by the truck load to UBC and SFU.

Any help would be appreciated.

SFU? simmon fraser?

U of T arts is easy, but Queen's has a better community if you want a more unique experience.
Waterloo and Western are not competitive! if anything, U of T and Queen's would be the most competitive.
UWO is all jokes and fun, my friends are loving their undergrad. experience there. Waterloo is mediocre in their Arts majors, but i must warn you, if you are going to do Co-op, Waterloo's Co-Op Program is over rated and theri schedules and rules can really trap you there for many many many years
so i would recommend UWO, Queen's and then U of T
gl :D

Yup. Simmon fraser. I applied to a crap course in UoT. Book and Media studies. I didn't know about it, it was supposed to be a safe school/course. lol. Queen's....well.....I don't know. It used to be my choice school, but now..... I might transfer there later. I haven't heard anything good about Brock and Ottawa. Waterloo seems a bit too sleepy for me. Nothing from the others schools (I applied to like 14. lol)

So I eventually decided to eliminate Ontario and Qubec and that leaves me with 3 schools (thats one way to choose, no?). UBC, UVic and SFU. I have not even been admited to UBC yet. And I hear it is kinda of a hard school. I mean "We will weed out the weak" type hard. I don't like that.
So it is left with SFU and UVic. Any help there? Detailed descriptions from Student's there will help. No rush. Got till June to make a choice.

go to Mcgill. I got Toronto too but wth...
