Canada's Gpa Conversion

Did Any Ppl Know How To Convert The Average Of 8 Courses Into The Scaled Gpa????

bump

extra characters

YES i do, my way is for Ontario schools, our GPA is on a scale of 5
5.0=100%(unattainable)
4.9=98%(unattainable)
4.8=96%(unattainable)
4.7=94%(difficult to achieve)
4.6=92%(difficult to achieve)
4.5=90%(difficult to achieve)
4.4=88%
4.3=86%
4.2=84%
4.1=82%
4.0=80%
then it changes
3.9-3.0=79%-70%
2.9-2.0=69%-60%
1.9-1.0=59%-50%
1.0-=FAIL

is that actually how it goes? cause if it is my GPA owns!

it also really depends on the school you go to, at my school, the highest in history is 4.5 -_-

oh... at our school basically the top 5 students in each grade have a 90-93 average then every once in awhile someone comes along and gets a 95 average but usually they just take the easiest courses.

anything above 80% is 4.0 up???? I live in BC...donno how to convert....

newby how does that translate onto the 4.0 scale tho... i mean is an 80% the equivelent of the 4.0 that all these super students on CC tout? or is it something completely different...

actually 100% is attainable in Ontario schools. For semestered ones that is..
