I'm aware that UChicago is need-blind for Canadians, but I've never found this in print. In fact, I filled out the UChicago Financial Aid Application today but nowhere on it did it say that Chicago was need-blind for Canadians. Instead, it had something along the lines of,

"Admission for all international students is need-sensitive."

So is Chicago really need-blind to Canadians? (First-year Applicant to the College)

Who told you the college is need-blind to Canadians?

I did a search on CC and it came up.

(Ignore me, I was just 1-upped by the college rep below.)

Apologies you have been unable to find this information; a late-policy change did not make it into many of our Financial Aid materials.

We are indeed need-blind for Canadian Citizens (as well as US Citizens and Permanent Residents).

This information does appear here under “Financial Aid Application.” https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/apply/applicants/international/

Thanks very much! I feel much more relieved now. =D
