<p>Is the Canadian application process the same as in the US?</p>

<p>i live in the US, and i'm not very clear about how to apply....
i already gave my counselors the envelopes for my transcript, and I already sent my SAT scores. Do i need teacher's recs/are they recommended? and also...other than the app itself (i'm doing it online), do i need anything else? ie...essays, personal statements, etc... </p>

<p>nope, just send the grades/school information/sat results and such, you can include a guidance counsler rec, but that is optional. its all numbers the admisions process</p>

<p>Canadian schools are much more numbers based. You need your transcript, your test scores, and perhaps senior year grades. That is it. However if you want to send "additional information" such as letters of rec, you're welcome to, but it's not really considered in the process.</p>
