so here.
im a Canadian, my ethnicity is chinese.
i moved to US last year beginning of junior year.
now im in Jersey.
what should i do?
i mean i know im international but the problem is, are top schools need blind to Canadians?
Do Canadians only have to compete with other people from NA or from all over the world?

You have better chances and opportunities as a domestic. As a Canadian you're competing against the whole world. If you're applying to a state school, intl. are even worse than out of state.

Some schools are need-blind to Canadians and Mexicans, but need-aware to other internationals. We are still considered internationals for the purpose of admissions though (just "special" internationals I guess?)

yeah i heard about colleges being need blind to Canadians. especially the top private schools.
but damn, we have to compete with people from all over the world?
im sure i dont know as much calc as people in china....

I heard that Penn, Columbia, and Cornell still look at you as an "international" but financial aids are given to canadians the exact same way as they are given to americans. I might be wrong.

oo alrighty then!

most ivies are need blind to internationals
