I don't mean to be random...but this thought has always been bothering me. There are so many people around me who are aiming to go to college in the U.S.; some of them have green cards and are just attending school in S.Korea; some are citizens who live here because of their parents' jobs, and some are just ordinary non-native, non-resident, non-citizen students...

so my question is...if two people(resident/citizen or international) with exactly the same GPA, SAT scores, and EC's were to apply to a selective university, which would the university favor?

It really depends, but in the vast majority of cases, the US citizen would be favored over the international student. After all, the international student could have attended his or her passport country's college! If he or she wants a chance at an US university, he or she probably has to prove that he or she is somehow more talented than the average US applicants.

oasis you are right. u know the place for international students is just 5% - 10% hehehehe it is so small. i think the supine is not an experimental, i got that one

u bet it is.. but then there is usually something that separates u from the rest. ur USP-Unique Selling Point....
u definitely cant tell which section is experimental by just looking at the number of questions.
yeah , even i picked conformity to; its certainly an idiomatic error.
i guess even i got the 3rd format of the test

yah cube one was 1/8 i got it wrong !! (stupid me.) i mizz that one, it is easy but i just find it easy for the last 5 seconds hahahaha - - miss the easiest thing
