Canadian kid needing help!

Hi all,
I'm a senior this year and am taking the SAT as well as SAT math 2, and SAT literature. My extracurriculars are solid, with playing 4 sports competitively, volunteering at my local hospital, refereeing youth soccer and basketball, volunteering at a soup kitchen for the homeless, and working with a landscaping company. My grades are pretty good. Not sure of my GPA because we go by percent in Canada. My overall average was 90%, which is probably in the top 25% of my class of 300. My essays are really good, haven gotten them read over and loved by english teachers, as writing is my forte. I'm applying to Duke (dream school), Boston College, Michigan, Florida, Texas at Austin, and Virginia. and for those canadians, mcgill, western, queens, and toronto. If you can provide any insight towards my USA school chances, i would greately appreciate it. Thanks alot. PS: just give opinions on 1 or 2 school chances, i dont expect you to help me with all 6. Thanks!

I’d say you have great shots at UT Austin (sick school) and UVA (another sick school).

Alright thanks alot. No shot at the others?

depends on your SAT scores… IMO, if a college isn’t familiar with your HS’s grading method, it will place more weight on the standard tests. It also depends on if you need financial aid or not. i think you have no shots at the state schools if you need lots of financial aid. But if you don’t then:
Duke- Reach
Boston College- Match
Michigan- Slight reach
Florida- Strong match/safety
Texas- Hard because you are international
Virginia- i don’t know lol
