Canadian PENNers

hey all canucks, do you all or which one of you took the ap courses...how are ap incoporated as credits...

yeah man I put Riepe as my first choice in the quad, hoping to get the quad because Hill looked pretty grimy when I went. I'm going into CAS, how bout you? To answer the question of AP's, it depends on where you go to school and where you want to go to university. Not a lot of high schools offer them, for example in Toronto only 5 schools offer AP's, my school being one of them and it only offers 4 courses, or which I took 2 this year. A majority of canadian universities don't recognize AP's but more and more are starting to. If you plan on going to the US it'd probably be a good idea to take AP's if your school offers them, but if they don't I wouldn't worry about it.

steven, which school in toronto are you from and also your stats, thanks

hey I'm from Martingrove in Etobicoke, you know it? my stats were 2210 SAT's, 800 800 750 on bio, math 2 and chem. 90% avg, good recs, strong ecs in leadership music and sports. Interview clicked well. Not too many awards or competitions. Good essays, they weren't fabulous in my opinion but they were very me.

I don't really care, but yo, some canadian chinese girls here are fine.

steven, did you get any financial aids?

yeah they gave me a really good package because I'm a BFS, but I mean Columbia gave a comparable amount, so when they say they're need blind they really are, even towards internationals.

What is BFS?

benjamin franklin scholar, its pretty much just some extra seminars.
