Hey guys,

I am currently a senior studying in Canada and applying to two American places: UCLA and UCB. I am applying for Chem Engineering at both schools.

SAT Generals: R680, M800, W710 (Composite 2190)
SAT Subjects: Haven't taken them. I'm pretty sure I can score 750+ on Physics and Math2. Not too sure about Chem.

GPA/Grades:
Grade 10 avg. ~91
Grade 11 avg. ~94
Our school operates under the Ontario grading system. 80 is considered an A here, and I have never gotten a mark lower than 80. (Roughly 4.0 on GPA?)
I am also taking IB so course load is very rigorous.

ECs:
Not too great, but it's all right.
I played in Band for ~7ish years, played in String Ensemble at school, played in a youth orchestra, and play lead trombone in a Jazz ensemble. I am the director of one club and played Varsity soccer, ran cross country and joined the track team for all four years in school. I have won some awards for Math and Chem, but nothing too spectacular. I have also won some awards for soccer and Taekwondo.

Essay:
It's gonna be alright. I'm fairly good at writing, but I'm not sure if I'll even have the time to construct a good essay in time. (>.> Too much school work)

Other:
I wasn't even planning to apply to the States, but my dad may move to California so my parents said I should apply to the UCs. Other schools that I'll be applying for are UoToronto and Waterloo, which I suspect will be my "safety" schools (90%> chance of acceptance).

Thanks, and any feedback is welcome!
