Do you plan to go to college or university in Alberta?
(The terms have different meaning.)

I’m not aware of any such agreements. There are some Canadian students at the UofM; however, I think most are admitted as freshmen. I can tell you that U Alberta and U Calgary are both very good schools. After you get settled, talk to your guidance counselors to find out whether you will qualify for lower resident tuition rates (I am not sure).

If you have not already done so, review [this page](http://admissions.tc.umn.edu/admissioninfo/trans_requirements.html).

I think attending a university with plans to transfer will not improve your experience there. YMMV.
