Just wondering, what is the admissions process like for a Canadian university if you’re applying from the USA but is Canadian citizen? Am I supposed to keep the Canadian grade average requirements, and am I eligible for Canadian scholarships and tuition?
Thanks
A Canadian citizen is eligible for domestic tuition. The admissions process depends on the province and the university. There are different admissions forms and processes for students who are doing high school outside of Canada. If you have ever lived in Canada, you may also be eligible for tuition assistance from the province you last lived in.
For McGill your application will be evaluated as an American applicant. If admitted you will pay the out of province Canadian tuition rate. If you are a Canadian citizen but never ever lived in Canada you would pay the Quebec tuition rate.
