I’m from Toronto, and have been accepted to Wellesley for ED.

Good luck to all you regualar decision-ers! :)

I’m from Toronto, and have been accepted to Wellesley for ED.

Good luck to all you regualar decision-ers! :)

used to live in Toronto, ON now in California
(still applying as Canadian though)

Applied to:
Stanford
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCI
NYU
Pomona
Brown
Columbia
Georgetown
Occidental
Haverford
RISD

Safeties:
Uof T, UBC and Waterloo

UBC is a good a school, some people just don’t like going some place close to home.

yea, UBC seems really nice to me. Windsor, Ontario sucks, you don’t even know. Anyone half smart here wants to get out of here ASAP, unless they are getting an enormous scholarship from UofWindsor. Who would want to go to a school that accepts students with 60s anyways? Not me, I’m outta here

Yay I’m the first Albertan! Haha.
All RD:
Stanford
Yale
Dartmouth
Boston College
William & Mary
Duke
U Miami
UNC
U.Va.
Wellesley (I know it’s different than the rest of the places on my list but I went to an all-girls junior high, visited Wellesley in the summer and LOVED it)

:)

From Ontario- am a 2014er

Got into Emory(going), Notre Dame, Case and some others.

when did you get your acceptance from Emory? And congrats.

I thought UBC was the most expensive university in Canada…

i don’t think so
[Tuition fees - Paying Fees - Awards, Fees & Finances - UBC Student Services](http://www.students.ubc.ca/finance/fees.cfm?page=tuition)
doesn’t seem that expensive…maybe UofT or McGill are the most expensive? not sure

Pretty sure McGill takes the cake for cost in terms of public universities. I’m certain there are private universities in Canada that cost much more though.

I’m a Quebecer

All Ivies minus Yale and Dartmouth (though now I wish I had applied there… damn, too late)
Stanford
Johns Hopkins
Northwestern
WashU
Oberlin

Toronto.

In order of preference:
Stanford, Yale
Harvard, Columbia, Pomona
Wesleyan
Middlebury, Vassar, NYU, Princeton

Safety Safety is Colgate University, where I was already accepted.
Safeties are NYU and Vassar, where I expect to be accepted.

T-DOT
In order of preference: (all RD)
Penn (wharton)
Columbia
Stanford
Yale
Harvard (this was a donation, really, haha)
Princeton
Cornell
Dartmouth
McGill

Safeties: Queen’s Commerce, UT, Western(Ivey), York(schulich)

good luck to everyone :)

Ivey and Schulich aren’t really safeties for anyone because of the large applicant pool…

I don’t really want to go to Schulich… parental pressure to apply really.
And Ivey, I’m pretty confident about. I know people who have gotten in with mid 80’s and so-so EC’s.

Ivey and Schulich are pretty much safeties for an Ivy caliber student in Canada…

Hey guys. Already 2014?

Class of 2014 = those who enter college in fall 2010? I think that’s usually the preconceived notion.

I know. It’s just a personal remark. The last time I used CC was back in 2007 when I was part of the 2011 class. Time certainly flies.

I ONLY want Brown…T_T

Otherwise, I guess, Queens or McGill or something…I mean, Canadian unis basically just look at marks, right? At least that’s what my teachers tell me
