Cancel an SAT subject Test

I signed up for SAT Math Level II and SAT Physics for this Saturday but I don't want to take Physics on account that I am not prepared. What should I do?

Either just don’t go and they will obviously cancel - you don’t get a refund. Or you can pay a fee to change the test date (but call the college board to find out if you can change a date to next academic year).

Sorry - didn’t see that you only want to skip one of the tests… simply take Math II and then don’t take the Physics. You can simply leave after the first. Again - no refund for the second test.

I won’t end up getting a 200 or so on Physics though?

bump… please help

What are you asking? Poohbah29 is correct. There will be no score for Physics if you decide not to take it.

Is it possible I do another subject test instead of it?

I was asking that if I don’t take physics, I won’t get a score of 0 or 200 or so? The only score that will show up will be Math level 2 right?

Yup! Only the Math 2 score will show up, unless you fill in the bubble sheet (on the day of the test) that you’re taking physics and answer no questions. But if you don’t indicate you’re not taking physics it won’t show up. You just won’t get a refund.

And you can opt to take a different test in its place. So if you choose to do literature just fill out the bubble that you’re doing literature. Just because you signed up for that test online doesn’t mean you have to take that specific subject. You’re also allowed to take a third one, though you will be charged for later fees.

Thanks, I really appreciate it

I don’t know if you’re going to see this, but I suggest that you take the test.
You might as well milk it as much as you can. Think of it as a really expensive practice test.
After taking it, just ask to cancel the score on the spot.
You can do this by telling you administrator, filling out a signed form, or some other way that
escapes my mind at the moment.

Similar question: I don’t feel ready taking my SAT 2 test and I understand that there is no refund. Do I just not go on that day to cancel it? Or do I have to do some registration/filling out to cancel.

Just don’t go to the testing center and it will be canceled, no filling out of forms needed. No refund though as you mentioned.

I called the CB and they told me I would get a $13 refund if I only took one of the two tests I signed up for…
