Cancel SAT subject registration??

Hi!
This month I registered to take three subject tests (math 2, latin, and physics) and realized that there is just no way I am going to do well on latin so I am looking to cancel my registration for that one. Is that possible? From what I have researched, I can't but I can just not show up for the test and it won't go on my record. So if that is the case, how do I just "skip" Latin but take the other tests? In what order are the tests given? GAH I AM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Thanks.

Hey there,

I’m in a similar situation as you. I signed up for Math 2, Chemistry, and US History, but I don’t want to take Chemistry nor US History (not even prepared for it lulz)
Based on what my teachers and friends said, you can just tell the proctor that you don’t want to take a particular subject test exam. If you do that, you won’t get a refund. Lucky for me, I used my fee waiver ;).

Best of luck.

OH COOL thanks so much!!!
:D

When you arrive at the testing center, you receive a booklet containing the questions for all the tests. You just bubble in on the top of the answer sheet which tests you’re taking. Whichever test -even ones you didn’t sign up for if you want - in whichever order. Just do Math 2 and Physics in whatever order you want and just leave afterwards.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you need to tell the proctor, and you won’t get a refund for the Latin test. Good luck!

Unless time is an issue, it’s not a bad idea to take Latin anyways… if you don’t do well, just don’t send your college your scores. It would actually be a good idea to take it just to see how prepared you are for the next time you take it! And if you do well, go ahead and send the score to your colleges!

Nothing to lose, but much to gain by taking it.

Woops. I didn’t realize someone had already replied. Sorry.

Wow, I’m thinking of doing the same thing tomorrow with French, but didn’t know if it was really possible… Idk if I should take it or not, I’m way too indecisive! But it might be a good idea if you’re going to apply to colleges that don’t accept score choice… Honestly I kind of wish that I just put all my subject tests off until October…
