Hey! The more I read CC threads, the more mistakes I find out about:-( :-( Right now I'm down to about -4 (no omits) on CR, -3/4ish Math (not too sure about that because I had experimental M) and -3ish W (the essay went decently well).

The thing is, this is worse than I ever did on any practice test, and I'm confident I could do better. Should I cancel my scores, and take again in May? I will be re-taking for 800 M for sure anyways. Thanks for your imput!

PS: Excuse my lack of knowledge about SATs...I'm Canadian :D

those are decent scores. It's your choice, but I wouldn't want to cancel and then have harder writing/grammar sections next time (writing SC was hard this time but passages might be harder next, and grammar might be harder too). I would probably keep this score if I were you.

These are competitive scores, so I'd advise against canceling ur scores. The colleges don't look down at taking the test 2-3 times - most students take it more than once.

i believe that when u cancel it is basically becuase u don't want colleges to c ur scores so as not to hurt ur admission chances. i doubt collegeboard will tell the colleges that u canceled. as far as i know collegboard sends all ur past SAT scores and nothing else to colleges.
