does anyone know the steps to fully withdraw from berkeley because i SIR but now i dont want to go anymore and i keep on calling but they give me different responses every time

Where are you going to go then? O.o

Try calling them one more time.

he’s going to usc i bet, huge downgrade. not willing to challenge himself i see

I mean, this is just so late in the year, lol. 2 weeks before school starts.

Seriously ***. But yu don’t cancel the sir, you go to telebears log in and hit 'cancel registration" on the left. I hope youre withdrawing for non financial reasons, if so I’m sorry. But if u have the means of going to college please do don’t chicken out

Looks like the OP got into USC on appeal, but he is interested in sports medicine and believes the school offers a better curriculum for his/her intended career. That is, assuming the OP plans to become a physicians assistant or therapist or some kind of support staff and is not planning to pursue an MD.

With the special circumstances in mind, lets give the OP a break and not heap the scorn upon him/her that we would have had this been a normal situation and a simple downgrade of college.

^Pretty much directed at DomCobb.

No one else wanted to rant at him or anything. I was just curious.

southgate - you will be cancelling registration - see Notice to Admitted Undergraduates in [Cancellation, Withdrawal and Readmission - Office Of The Registrar](http://registrar.berkeley.edu/prospective_students/registration_enrollment/canwd.html)

It also recommends that you contact your college first, as that might preserve your right to reenter Cal in the Spring if you change your mind later.

After that, you would use telebears or contact the Registrar or have your college do it electronically (if you contact them in the step above) - see Continuing Students: Cancelling Registration Before Instruction Begins in the above link for where to contact.

Since your post on the USC forum says you were undeclared here, I am presuming College of Letters and Sciences. Here is the information on your withdrawal [College Policies-Transferring Credit](http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/collegepolicies/withdrawal.html) and possible readmissions. However, call them unless you are certain you would never, no matter the circumstances, want to reenter Cal.

i was kidding yo lol

yeah im going to usc they have a kinesiology program there which berkeley does not offer

rider730: that is exactly what i am doing and thanks for the info
domcobb: cal is going downward right due to the budget cuts and usc has everything i need

How can we trust what you say qam256 when you can’t even do your math right:

plus, have you LOOKED at the neighborhood outside USCs perimeter?

LOL at calling it a perimeter - it’s definitely a war-zone. They need patrolling sentries.

the neighborhood around usc is not that bad too many people create these horrible sterotypes
and cal’s neighborhood isnt great either

They aren’t stereotypes, they are factual. I’ve even heard USC students say really bad things about the area too.

I’ve been there and have friends who are students there. not trying to talk you out of your choice of schools, just reacting to the bizarre statement made by another poster.

^Several things wrong with your post.

eavesdrop(v.) - to listen secretly to a private conversation.

I wasn’t listening to anything you said because CollegeConfidential does not have audio capabilities. Plus, the thread/source I listed earlier noting your miscalculation would not be considered private as anyone can read it. I only happened to notice that error you made because the topic was originally mines that you posted in.

Anywho, I’m just bored atm, which explains why I just nitpicked your comment, lol.

It’s more like, I knew what it meant, but I also knew that if I supplied my own definition of the word, it would not have as reputable of a basis as Dictionary.com(its true source). I only gave you the definition of the word because you didn’t use it correctly.

And if you checked dictionary.com, that’s its exact definition.
