<p>You can “cancel” a test only before scores come out. Whether you can avoid having a college learn of the score depends:</p>
<p>College Board (the testing company) allows you to choose which scores you send to colleges. However, though many colleges accept that score choice policy, a number of colleges require you to send all SAT test scores so you need to check with colleges to which you are applying as to their particular rules. Also, even if you can avoid sending the official score to a college you need to check with what your high school does because many put all your scores on your official high school transcript that is sent to colleges.</p>
