I’m a senior this year, and I’ve gotten all 5s on my AP exams except for a 1 on one of them that I took last year (2017). Can I still cancel my score? Is that the best option so that I don’t have to withhold it and pay extra money?
When you apply to colleges, you self-report AP scores. That means that you can report just the good ones.
Next summer when you know where you will be attending, if that place accepts AP scores for credit or advanced placement you will arrange to have your scores sent there. No one in the credit office will give a rip about any scores that don’t qualify for credit or advanced placement.
So stop worrying about that 1.0. It is meaningless for your future.
