I'm extremely well prepared for my AP Stats test (for this Tuesday) and am confident I will score well on it. But, as for my AP Physics Exam, my teacher has covered about 80% of the material, but none of it fully (for example, we have only done half of each chapter). Anyways, I'm really not prepared for it, and I would like to cancel my exam BEFORE taking it. Does anyone know the procedure for this?

By the way, I understand that you can't talk to CBoard about this, and it's purely based on your school coordinators. But, do you think I will be able to get at least some of the money I paid back? What are your experiences with this?

How many days ahead do you need to cancel your test?

yes, you tell your school coordinator, and you pay $13...i did that b.c of a scheduling conflict..

^why not just take a shot? I mean you have nothing to loose other than 60-some dollars! Besides there's an EPIC CURVE on the AP Physics Tests.

On both the B and C tests, about 64% is a 5...even if you've covered about 40-45% of the cirriculumn, and you know that 45%-50% weel, you're lloking at a solid 4..so why not just take a shot?

btw, are you in B or C?

Just my 2-cents;l you can do whatever you feel is best? And GOOD LUCK!!! :)

i know dat if u cancel the ap exam after u took it, it shows "canceled" or ur record.

so wat if i cancel it before the exam date, is there any record?

can i call the CBoard to cancel it? cuz i cant wait till monday to see my AP coordinator...T_T

I'm sort of opposite....I am so not ready for Stat...self suty ap stat is too much for me...@@ I am so desparate about that right now..but anyway, why dont you just take it and choose not to report the scores to the schools you are applying for?

The College Board includes all scores for all tests on test reports.

What if you simply didn't take the test? Don't show up for it, don't take it, be absent.

Scratch that first sentence in my post; that's true only for SATs, not AP.

yea, wat if u be absent dat day?
do they canceling it automatically?

i actually want to know what happens if you don't show up

i didn't feel prepared so i figured that i just wouldn't show up for calc this morning... but does that mean its canceled or do i get a 1...?
