I took the SAT US and Math Level II test last week, and I wasn't ready for either one, and the only reason I took them was for practice and because I didn't want my money to go to waste... Obviously, I asked to cancel my scores as soon as the test was over.
I've never canceled scores before, so I was surprised that all they gave me was this little half-sheet of paper to fill out. Is that all I had to do? Then, the proctor started telling me about how the collegeboard would think "the worst" if I canceled, that I'm a "professional cheater because no one cancels" and not only is that ridiculous, but it makes me worried that he didn't go through with the canceling even though I insisted on it... Also, to be even more sure, I erased the whole script-written statement and signature because I saw that as the best way to ensure that no one will score my test. However, I'm really worried that they did not cancel my scores and that I'll get like 200 points on these tests...

What is the standard procedure for canceling scores right after the exam?
