I am debating to as whether i should just try the May Sat. If i do poorly, i can cancel. But if I cancel, will colleges be able to see that i had canceled my SAT score? or will it just be like i never took it or even registered for it? Any concrete proof of this?

The score won’t show up in your record so colleges won’t know.

do you have any proof of this?

The process of canceling a score is no different than when a score from 8th or 7th grade is removed from your record. No one is notified (that would be an invasion of privacy).

You should check your transcript too though.

check my transcript? what do you mean by that? and why? btw congrats on UC Berk!!!

Sometimes score are put on your hischool transcript. If you cancel it, it shouldn’t because they don’t score it, but it never hurts to be cautious.

The whole point of canceling scores is so they don’t show up in your record.

thanks.

Cjgone is correct. The scores would not appear at all, nor would their be an indication that you had cancelled them.

Excellent!!! thanks alot.
