I've read that if a proctor were to give someone a misconduct report, that person would need to issue a warning. Can I have some confirmation on this?

(In other words, is it possible to write the test without knowing that your scores will be cancelled?)

I’m not entirely sure…

Normally, the proctor tells you to leave or that your score is getting cancelled at the end of the test. I’m assuming you did some cheating or did something that at least looked like it? The proctor would have most likely given you a warning or something first. I would not worry about it.
