In hope of improving my chances of getting into my last schools, I decided to take the Jan. SAT. Surely enough, all SAT test centers were cancelled in my state because of inclement weather. New testing dates have been scheduled (including mine) for Feb. 20, with the exception of a few undetermined. Is anyone here a senior and cannot take the Feb. 20 date because of impending deadlines? I have sent in a ticket to the college board regarding my situation, but it is not guaranteed that I may test on an earlier date. Has anyone else attempted to resolve this with CB? Thanks.
I don’t think there’s anything they can do.
It was a massive blizzard. Not unexpected in January, but not something anyone could work around.
They need a few weeks to put together a new test. That’s the reality.
So you may have to do without this last score for some of your schools.
Would you consider emailing the schools and asking whether they think it’s worth it for you to take the Feb exam?
I agree with@bjkmom. I emailed and looked at the admissions page for the two schools I was primarily taking the SAT for again and they said they were willing to accept the Feb.20th SAT.
