Cancelled scores

I signed up for the ACT plus writing for the date today, and I canceled my scores after the reading test by handing it to the proctor.

I cancelled because I had a 35.25 from the last date and felt pretty badly about how I did today, thinking there was no way I could have gotten a 36 by the end of reading.

So what happens? Does anybody get to see the scores? Will it show up at my school and transcript with a 0 on the science I never took?

Thanks.

Can you check with your guidance counselor?

I did see this article but I would independently verify what it states: http://blog.prepscholar.com/how-to-cancel-your-act-scores

@SouthFloridaMom9

This is my guidance counselor’s first year on the job and he seemed very inexperienced, so I don’t think he would be of much help. My old one unfortunately retired last year, so that’s a mess of its own. Thanks for the reply though!

ACT let’s you permanently delete test records. Just follow their instructions to ensure.

Lol I wanted to cancel my score too after reading section, i also wanted to punch myself (jk on that, but i did get frustrated)
I did neither cuz I don’t have a 35 :))

I think you overreacted tbh.

Total overreaction, unless you plan on keeping the 35 as-is.

you definitely overreacted on it. It seems like score less then 35 means nothing for you.

@HarvardPliss If you did not complete the test, no score will be generated. There is nothing you have to do at this point.

I agree with the above posters. You overreacted. You could’ve seen your score and deleted it if you didn’t like it.
