Cancelling AP Scores

I have to take the AP French test in order to pass my french class, but I don't actually know much, and I know I'll get a 1. Is there a fee if I cancel my scores, and what's UCLA's policy on cancelled AP scores? Also, if I cancel my score, will my teacher know that my score was cancelled before she gives out final grades in June?

AP scores are released sometime in July as I can remember it was last year.
You should check collegeboard AP exams page to see about cancelling AP scored. It should not be UCLA policy.

Your high school teacher won’t know about your AP test score when she assigns grades, but she will get a report from all of her students in July and will see that your name is not on it. So, I don’t think it will affect your letter grade. And UCLA doesn’t care if you get a 1 since you are already accepted, so might as well not cancel it since you paid for it and are taking it.

Your teacher could be mean and change your grade lower after she gets the scores… but anyways, UCLA doesn’t really care about AP scores. It can only help you, not hurt you since you’re already in.

I think you have already registered a AP test, you can get some refund if you chose not to attend the test. Check collegeboard.com! I am not sure if it is what you asked for.

eh, I decided just to take it. Thanks for your advice though!
