Anyone know how hard this is to do/when the last day to do it is?

If you signed the housing contract you will have to pay a fee (I assume you are already a student and not a prefrosh?). IIRC, the fee is something like $250, but don’t quote me on that.

May I ask WHERE your single is? :)

it’s in alice cook, why you interested?
and i know there’s a fee but when’s the last day to do it by, do you know?

I know you shouldn’t have any trouble finding someone to take over the lease, in fact I would if I hadn’t already signed an apartment lease, although because my apartment is literally across the street from AC I think I actually prefer it at this point. Ask around, there are probably plenty of rising juniors/seniors that got screwed over by the housing lottery that would take it, but not really sure if that would prevent any fee (perhaps if they had signed no on campus housing contract?).

I would contact sandy davenport in cornell housing to find out your options/deadline to cancel. Just call the number on the housing site and ask for sandy.

I have a friend who is desperately looking for a single on West. mind if I PM you?

yeah go ahead

single on west? why would you cancel? i honestly think the best room on campus at cornell is arguably a single in carl becker or alice cook.

they’re newly constructed buildings and have great communities, esp. alice cook…kids tried to get those rooms but they fill up in seconds

… Why don’t you ask the housing office?
