There are no minimums - at least that's what everyone says. When we took it during Summer Seminar, the mids INSISTED that there were no minimums, in fact - but everyone knows there are.

Someone on the internet it lists the old PAE scores from West Point - not all the same events as the CFA but as I recall it was very close, and there's a graph that shows the average score accepted.

I hope I'm not thinking of the PT scores that are listed...I'm not trying to mislead you.

Good luck! I know it's stressful, I retook mine in October. If you're a girl, DO NOT do the flexed arm hang!! It's better to do ONE pull up than hang on the flexed arm hang forever.

USNA version of the CFA is pass or fail. What the margin to pass is...I do not know. To be qualified to compete for an appointment you must be:
-scholastically q'd
-medically q'd
-physically (CFA) q'd ---> P/F. If you pass, you are physically q'd.

pretty good basketball and mile...idk about boys pullups and shuttle run. You should probably try for more pushups, but it's not BAD (i know girls max at 50 on teh CFA so you should probably try for at least that - our platoon leader at NASS said that if you do 25 pushups one night, 30 the next, 35 the next and so on you get used to them really fast. It's true. I'm a girl and after doing that for a month I maxed at 50 on my retake CFA)

all in all i'd say you did pretty well, not that i'm an expert!

I had to submit them to West Point and wanted to resubmit at the same time to USNA, so I emailed my regional director I think, gave her my PE teacher's email, and she sent some kind of form for my PE teacher to fill out online. They definitely retake CFA results

btw thanks a lot for your help! this is really what i needed. honestly im kinda winging it... i have no family in the military and nobody at my high school from my high school went to the naval academy in recent years

Welcome aboard. You'll find lots of people to help you here. Just realize that these are typically candidates or parents. Therefore you'll have to understand that we have learned from our experiences, but none of us is "official". There will be questions that only Admissions will have for you. Don't feel like you have to wing it. Keep us posted on your progress and share your own experiences with the process.

lemme edit this. I really feel sorry for the kid, his life is being ruined miserably. It's not fair to him, any other fraud couldn't even match that.

How much of that all did you read? There are pictures photoshopped of him being murdered, death threats, I mean, they have gone way too far. The problem was resolved and the kid receives death threats and such anyways. And come on, he's 19. Can you say everyone is that smart then, ya its fraud and he was a dumbass, but is 25 dollars worth that?

For the record, I don't defend his actions one bit, just the follow-up after the resolution.

I'm taking mine on next Monday and I took an untimely uninjury in a hockey game yesterday. It's nothing too serious but my arm and foot is still quite sore and I don't want it to be detriment to my pullups, pushups, throw, etc. Should I just go ahead and take it anyway? I'm a college applicant so my file won't be reviewed after mid December...

I was in the same situation as you, I overstressed all my joints a few days beforehand. Stretch it out and unless is will really restrict you, it would probably be best to do it IMO.
