is there any materials for learning how to act and what is coming at West Point before you get there?

There are several things you can read/watch. My son's favorites were the book "Absolutely American" and the National Geographic series (on DVD) "Surviving West Point". Both give a you a look into the lives of cadets, althoug I don't think there is anything that can truly "prepare" you...

My Cadet just says "don't leave your brain at home."

thanks, i will be sure to look into that.

I'd also recommend:

"The West Point Candidate Book: How to Prepare, How to Get in, How to Survive" by William L. Smallwood

and

"Duty First" by Ed Ruggero

Thanks i've tried to get the candidate book and duty first and the National geographic! but the Absolute American i've read some but its a little out of sequential order so i'm lost half the time!
