Is anyone else going to this? And for someone who has gone in previous years: is there any chance to see a dorm?

Also: Is this strictly for regular decision candidates, or can those accepted EA also attend?

I believe that EA candidates can also attend. I had a question about Stafford Loan quiz and when Financial aid called me back I asked and they said of course. Now that was the Financial Aid office but I think it makes sense. We went to the EA weekend but those of you who went know how the weather was so we left early and didn’t see everything we wanted.

it is my understanding that anyone accepted can attend this weekend…also, my roommate is one of the tour guides, and they always try to bring their groups by the freshmen south campus dorms to see what a typical room that you’ll be living in your freshman year

Ok, that’s good. I’ve already visited but I didn’t get to see a dorm, so that’s mainly what I’m looking forward to.

I’m going! Can’t wait :)

I might be going but I’m from Hawaii so it may be tough.

I’ll be there! looking forward to checking out the facilities and ask about the social scene

I went today…
and I LOVED it. Absolutely loved it. Loved everything about it.
The ride was not long, but long enough that when I saw “Main Line” I smiled a bit.

As one the people most turned off by the no diversity aspect, maybe I just picked a good day, but I did not feel that very much. My tour group especially was very diverse, and as we went through the campus I noticed it a bit more. Yes, there were not all that many people of other races, but enough to calm my nerves I suppose.

I loved the campus (the business building is pretty awesome, in my opinion), and the dorms were very nice too. I’m glad I learned about the various different transportation systems to take me…basically anywhere, even straight back home, and to the city in New York (a train to the city and to Philly is all I need!).

But in general, now that my “I’m gonna stick out like a sore thumb” subconscious fear has been suppressed, I have no reason not to send in my deposit this very second. I actually really wanted to just stay there, haha.

So, so happy I went, and I absolutely, positively cannot wait to go back!

I was pretty upset though, the store closed at 4, so after the tour I couldn’t go back to get things to get decked out in Vs.

whyorwhynot… the bookstore was PACKED and crazy!!! I was trying to get ahold of some stuff and luckily I snuck out with a few things, but I bought a pretty sweet shirt that said… “We’re not snobs… (on the back) We’re Just Better Than You Are VILLANOVA” haha but anyway… unless your an XXL it would have been tough to find something in your size since it seemed as if EVERYONE was in there. hopefully you visit again soon! & maybe ill see ya around since ill be in VSB too!!
