<p>I just returned from Olin College and they had a weekend long interview called "Candidates Weekend".
Before the weekend they went through all the resumes to see who made the "academic cut" and then invited us to the college (travel, housing & food where all covered). and for the weekend they scripted an engineering exercise where we teamed up and tried to figure out a problem (it was a fun exercise) and then they talked more about the university and then interviewed us to see if we had the personality to match the college (and we got to interview the college to see if they were right us).
After having the interviews at other HYPM type colleges... I thought this weekend long format was excellent for not only the college to evaluate me as a candidate but also for me to better understand the university.</p>
<p>I was wondering if you know of other Colleges that interview students through a "Candidates Weekend"?
