I'm currently a freshman at a CC, and I've applied to transfer to a few schools, but I'm starting to feel like I don't know where I want to go anymore.
I'm not really interested in sports, greek life, or big anonymous classes. I want to find a school with an artistic, intellectual student body, but not one that's so rabidly leftwing that I feel like I'm living in a commune. I want small classes, but not such a small school that I know every student within the span of a few months. I definitely want to study abroad, and I definitely could use scholarships. I have pretty excellent grades, and I want to find somewhere academically challenging. I also like to party, but it isn't my main goal, and often I spend my weekends doing homework rather than chugging bud lite. Any colleges come to mind with some/most of these criterion? Any suggestions would be a huge help. I'm considering dropping out because no college looks appealing, and I don't know if I could do another year at a CC.

I would suggest going on collegeboard.com and doing the college quiz thing…you can select which preferences appeal to you and it will help you filter through tons of colleges so you can find one that fits what you want…it helped me a lot on my college search
