Every time I try to indent on the first line of the UC PS, it always goes back to its original form. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

free bumps even though this is like the first thread.

In the nicest possible way, nobody cares.

I guess I'm pulling my hair out stressing over something as minuscule as this. My bad.

Chances are they'll just see your #s are fine or not, only if you're borderline will someone even read it, and then it'll read like everyones-- the first line will not be indented. In fact, might look strange if you tried and could, because you're probably using block paragraphs where a line is separating the paragraphs, in such a case an indenting is not necessary. Just get it done and in the mail.

don't indent. Just double space between paragraphs. The UCs and Common App members KNOW that certain puncuation is verboten on the electronic format so they they won't think it poor form.

Forget the indentation. UC states that you save your file in text format(ASCII) and copy and paste to the application. All the formats are gone when you do that. That is what DD did.

It is not a big deal if you just forget the indentation. However, if it just drives you crazy, try putting a period on the first line then skipping a line and indenting on the next line down. The period is nearly invisible. This also works if you want to center a title.

I just indented the other paragraphs
