<p>Hello guys. I'm finishing up my applications through Common App, and I am having an issue with uploading documents, specifically in the Cornell University Supplement. I wrote my essay in Microsoft Word 2007, so it's in .docx format, which the uploader says should take. It refused to take it, saying it was of the wrong file format. I used a Document-to-PDF converter that I've had success with in the past, but it refused to accept the PDF either! Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know of any solutions?</p>
<p>My only suggestion is to save it as a .doc file. I know when I sent .docx attachments to those with older systems people cannot open them.</p>
<p>Also, last year the common app did not like Chrome. So check your browser and try Safari or Firefox.</p>
