Does anybody else have this problem? When I check my financial aid package and decide what awards to accept or not, I can't accept the Federal Pell Grant. I know I can't click accept or decline on grants, but on the website, the grant offers me money but it also said I accepted $0. Does anybody know what to do?

Contact the financial aid office to ask.

I have the exact same problem!! It confused me. I’m going to call them tomorrow around noon (that’s when I get out of school to go to work) and ask why it’s set up like that.

Just to make sure we’re talking about the same thing: On the Accept/Decline Awards page is the total aid number under the Accepted column less than the number under the offered column?

Yes! The accepted column is less than the offered column because it says I’ve accepted $0 of the Pell Grant. If you could call them and ask about it, that would be great!

Also, I haven’t accepted any of the loans yet so that’s another reason why the accepted is less than the offered as well.

The guy on the phone said it’s just a glitch and everyone’s financial aid thing looks like that but it still considered accepted lol.

Do you know if they are trying to fix the bug or can I just hit submit and assume that the grant will be included on there?

I called too. I was told that I don’t need to accept the Pell. It’s actually in the instructions.

Please refer to the instructions above the award items on the “Accept/Decline Financial Aid” page (third paragraph)
If you have been awarded scholarship or grant assistance, you will not have access to accept or decline these awards. If the scholarship or grant is not already accepted for you, it will be accepted on your behalf when the award is ready to be processed.
