Can't Access Application

Hi,

I'm an international applying to MIT 2011 and when I click "Online Application & Tracking" I keep getting this message.

"Freshman Online Application & Tracking

The deadline to apply for freshman admission to MIT has passed for entry year 2010. The online application for entry year 2011 will be available in late summer."

What do I do? I'm freaking out right now... sigh

It isn’t avaible yet maybe. Check back later in the summer

Hmm I don’t think so. Other people seem to be filling out their Part I just fine.

Try going to mymit.edu and setting up an account.

sigh I’ll wait till Chris replies or call them up 2 in the morning ><…

It says I shouldn’t make duplicate accounts so better to err on the safe side.
Thanks for the reply guys.

International students may only apply during regular action.

Thanks for the reply! :D

When will regular action begin? The strange thing is that even if I change my status to U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident, I still can’t access any of Part I.

Hi, first time user here

I don’t think being an international student is part of the problem, because I am from texas and experiencing the same thing

So am I. I’m from Michigan and whenever I click on part one or two I get that message. I can however access the teacher rec forms.

Tried it again. Didn’t work. Help. Please.

I just called in. The application will not be available to sometime next week it seems or it will be available shortly. But nonetheless, I don’t think the application is officially out yet (there would’ve been a blog post about it, of course) yet some how few people are able to access Part I & Part II of their application.

:)

Oh yeah, good old blogs. Thanks MrWeezy, I feel better now

Really? I’ve already started it and everything O.O;

Weird, haha

A month or two ago my son set up a MyMit account so maybe that is why he is able to access the application. It even has some of his personal info pre loaded on part 1 and on the teacher forms.
