Can't check application status. OH NO!

Can’t check my application status.
Am I rejected?

<p>Don't worry. They took the link off their page for a couple weeks now.</p>

<p>Letters were sent on Friday, and some people living in the immediate area have received their decisions today.</p>

<p>This site is for "admitted students only"...and out of curiosity I log on and it says I'm admitted...hope its true...</p>

<p>part of me is wondering if, since it is in the admitted students part of the site, that everyone's by default is going to say they are admitted...</p>

<p>Hrm...I get the congratulations XXXX message too, but I think I'll wait before celebrating, since it could be that because it's the admitted students part of the page, it will welcome everyone by default as having been admitted.</p>

<p>I'm on the West Coast, so I think I'll get official notification Monday or Tuesday of next week.</p>

<p>I was able to get on...I live fairly close to Barnard, so I'll probably know tomorrow if it means anything.</p>

<p>It gave me a congrats message. It's too soon to break out the champagne, but at least I'm a little more optimistic now.</p>

<p>I went to the application status site and it didn't recognize me there either, but I can log onto the Financial Aid page. I am hoping something is wrong with my ID because I never really checked the status of my app.</p>

<p>Oh crap. This is depressing. At least I already got in to NYU... but still man.. Do you think there's a chance you could still be admitted if youre ID isnt working?</p>
