Can't Choose a College -- Help?

So far i've applied to 7 (asterisk = accepted, ~= denied, ^= waiting )

UGA^

Kennesaw State*

Valdosta State*

University of West GA^

Georgia State ~

St. John's University^

I want to major in theater and minor in a language. I'm not sure anymore where I want to go. I know that if I get accepted to UGA I'll go there. But, after being rejected from GA State I just don't know anymore. The only campus i've visited was UGA's. I think I also want an apartment style dorm...Can anyone please help me decide? I want to stay for 2 years and then transfer...

If you’re going to be a Theatre major, I wouldn’t think it’d make much sense to transfer just when you’ve established a track record with the Theatre faculty and are in line for major roles. You may find yourself starting over at the second school near the bottom of the totem pole.

Between KSU, VSU and Ga Southern, I wouldn’t think there would be a strong reason to choose one over the other. I would go wherever you feel most comfortable. If you are indeed a music lover, my impression is that the music program at VSU is quite strong.

I’ve done chorus all my life and I mostly like listening to new things and trying new things.
Would that really happen? I was originally planning to go to NYU or SUNY but my grades weren’t good enough to get in, plus I wasn’t ready for the audition. I’m planning on transferring to one of those schools or another selective school once I get myself together…

Would it help more if I visited the schools myself?

I think UGA or St John’s are the two options here depending upon financial considerations. Is money an issue? What are the financial packages looking like

My parents would rather me go to an in-state college because they can’t afford an out-of-state college. I’ve also applied to a Hope, 2 grants, and other scholarships and I’m going to apply for more. They don’t want me doing student loans either and having me to pay it back in my 40’s…
