I’m between Macalester College in Minnesota and UW Madison. I’m directly admitted to the Wisconsin School of Business as well. Any insight on these two would be great.
These are so different it is hard to advise. What are the respective costs? They are close geographically, so I suspect you may be in-state for UW. If that is true, and unless you received significant aid from Macalester – a nice school – I would go with UW. A direct admit to Business at Wisconsin is impressive and very difficult to come by. Also, if business is your intended major, I would think UW better than Macalester, which I think excels more in the liberal arts. We’d need more info. from you.
