Can't decide between NYU Tisch and Chapman (undeclared)

I applied for screenwriting at NYU Tisch and got accepted, I was over the moon with joy when I first found out because it was my top choice but I also got accepted to Chapman as undeclared.. and although I would have to apply to their film school for screenwriting I feel like Chapman is in a nicer location where I would be more comfortable and happy.. mainly because they have a campus, whereas NYU doesnt.. I'm an international student and I've never been to California or NYC, so please help?

I would email or phone someone at the Dodge school at Chapman, describe your circumstances and ask them
how difficult (or easy) it would be to gain admission as a screenwriting major.
Both are great programs, but the difference seems to be to be that at Tisch you’re already in the major that you hope for, while at Chapman there are no assurances.
Would you want to be at Chapman if you do not get into the Dodge school? There are other terrific programs there, but is that what you’d want?
